General impression about student: In general, the student speaks confidently and uses complicated words for her level. I was pretty surprised by her eagerness to discuss different topics. She is easy-going, pretty attentive, and very sociable. She deals with comparing and listening tasks easily. For me, it wasn`t hard to provide a speaking test and have a dialogue with Marina. In addition, she is fluent in linking words, can self-correct herself, and has a nice level of vocabulary and grammar. Nevertheless, she needs to work on the stress and pronunciation of some words. In general, I`m satisfied with her work and knowledge.
Feedback about Vocabulary: The usage of synonyms, fixed expressions, advanced words; phrasal verbs, and linking words is great!
I didn`t hear any idioms, but she knows a lot of collocations
There were no confused words.
Feedback about Grammar: The topics to focus on are: prepositions( could say I trust to those two people), auxiliary verbs( could confuse do/did, have/has), comparatives( could say more easier).
Feedback about Pronunciation: Needs to work on:
1) Vowels (long, short) and consonants (TH, R, V-W, etc),
2) The stress in the words and sentences and intonation.
She has a nice accent, not Ukrainian.
