Boss: Hi, how's your work here lately?
You: Hello, sir. It's pretty good, actually. I made new friends and enjoying the tasks and routines.
Boss: Good to know that. And since you're not on a training period anymore I decided to take you on your first business trip.
You: Thank you for this opportunity to learn new aspects of our company's business.
Boss: My pleasure.
You: So, is there anything I can help you with?
Boss: Actually, there is. You don't have to arrange the trip yourself, just make sure you control everything the secretary does. She's new here too.
You: Sir, could you please tell me more about the requirements.
Boss: Sure. First of all, I want a direct flight. No layovers. Window and middle seats with extra legroom for the managers. And two business class seats for you and me. If the on-board service in business class doesn't include wi-fi, please, make sure to buy tickets to the first class.
You: Ok. Anything else?
Boss: King-size bed, adjoining rooms, good internet access. And please, remind the secretary that I don't like it when the hotel housekeeping is disturbing me in the morning.
You: No turndown service, ok.
Boss: Additionally, please make sure the hotel serves continental breakfast. I really get no pleasure from crowded buffet breakfasts. And they rarely serve vegetarian options too.
Boss: As you are working on the presentation too, please make our best offer mutually beneficial. Also go see the accountants' office to get your per diem.
You: Thank you.
Boss: Oh, and one more thing. I'll need a new tie and a fresh haircut before the meeting. Thank you. That's all. Have a nice day.
You: You too, sir.
